Is wonho gay
A Late Celebration Month Blog
Heyo, MBBA! ^_^
I grasp I’m late, since it’s already June 15th by the time I’m writing this, but I wanted to accomplish something LGBTQ+ associated for Pride Month. And since Event Parade was on June 9th (for my country at least, idk about the others) and I COULDN’T Leave BECAUSE OF MY EXAMS 🤬, I felt the demand to make this post now that my exams are over and I have time to make better quality posts. :see_no_evil:
Anyway, in honor of the LGBTQ+, I wanted to create a blog about some of the times where Wonho showed support for the community. All members of Monsta X are supportive, but Wonho has caught my eye - and everyone’s tbh - the most. So, without further ado, let’s get right into it!
1. He is friends with people who are LGBTQ+.
It is no news to most of us that Wonho has had friends who are openly gay and trans since before debut.
As you may own heard, Wonho, advocate in his ulzzang days, had a friend, Jung Daeun, who were born female, now transitioning to male. The two were attractive close and it is said that they dated in the past. Many speculated that Wonho dated Jung Daeun to “cover up for their existence trans”, but Wonho hasn’t addressed those rumors yet.
Wonho is back—and same-sex attracted Twitter just got a new anthem to cry to at 2 a.m. in the club bathroom.
The 32-year-old K-pop soloist has just dropped Better Than Me, a nostalgic, emotional English-language bop with all the energy of a glitter-slicked Y2K lethargic jam. Think NSYNC in pleather. Ponder Backstreet Boys bathed in bisexual lighting. It’s been seven long months since his last English single, “What Would You Do,” and in gay years, that’s approximately three musical eras and one full astrology cycle.
Let’s be real—no one serves gym-honed heartbreak like Wonho. “This song is about knowing your worth, even when love ends, it’s okay to express, ‘You won’t locate another me.’ Sometimes the most strong thing you can do is step away with confidence,” he explains.

Better Than Me slaps with emotional clarity wrapped in a shimmering boy band pound. It’s made for dramatic walks under neon lights, messy breakups that conclude with power poses, and the caring of karaoke where someone inev
Monsta X’s Wonho & Jooheon support gay fan regarding lack of parental acceptance
Monsta X members Wonho and Jooheon provided a lgbtq+ fan of theirs with counsel on a recent V Survive when the fan expressed worry about the lack of parental support regarding their sexuality.
Both Wonho and Jooheon addressed the fan, essentially encouraging them to keep trying and assuring them it’s not their fault.
A nice moment from members of a group that has been quite consistent with their support.
Here Are 15 Times When MONSTA X Proved Themselves To Be LGBTQIA+ Allies
While South Korea still has room for improvement in terms of acceptance concerning the LGBTQIA+ community, many K-Pop groups and idols are attempting to create a positive change with their platform. One of those being MONSTA X.
The members of MONSTA X have, on multiple occasions, in some way, shown support and allyship to the LGBTQIA+ as adv as defy gender roles. They continually ignore haters and instead show authentic love and compassion.
Here are 15 times when MONSTA X proved themselves to be true and real allies of the LGBTQIA+ community:
1. Their appreciation and respect for male MONBEBEs
In an interview with GQ, Kihyuntalked about their male fans and explained how liking MONSTA X as a group is no other than being a fan of anything else, love movies and actors.
It’s the same way when you see a good-looking thespian on screen… You can say, ‘Wow. That’s a good-looking guy.’ And that’s how you become a fan.
— Kihyun
2. When Joohoney and Wonho encouraged a gay fan
When a MONBEBE told them they were concerned that their parents would not accept them if they came out, both Wonho and
