Her character, Camille, was the on-off girlfriend of Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), Emily’s (Lily Collins) major love interest. As such, Camille served as an occasional friend and rival to Emily throughout the series.
In a new interview with Deadline, Emily in Paris creator Darren Star explained why Camille was written off the exhibit. “I think her story kind of had a organic finish,” he said.
Razat revealed on Instagram that Camille’s go out was by plan, as she was ready to part ways from the Netflix show. The French actress wrote about her next projects and touched on whether there was a chance Camille could be back later in Emily’s journey.
