Chicago Pride Fest 2025
Chicago Pride Fest® is a two-day highway festival on June 21-22, 2025; the weekend before the Chicago Pride March (June 29, 2025). The 24th annual Chicago Pride Fest is a celebration of LGBTQ+ animation, culture and group in Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood.
Pride Fest features survive music on 3 stages, a Youth Pride Space for teens, best of Chicago drag act, the Proud Pet Parade with prizes, dance exhibitions, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, guest speakers and over 150 sustenance and merchandise vendors
A $20 suggested donation for entry helps pays performers and festival workers, and supports local non-profits & community programs like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in 2019 that make up the longest installation of it’s gentle in the world.

CPD talks Chicago Pride Parade shelter, with 1M expected to group in city
CHICAGO (WLS) -- One million people will gather in Chicago on Sunday.
On Thursday afternoon, police talked about how they plan to keep attendees protected during the Pride Parade.

Superintendent Larry Snelling at the Center on Halsted highlighted that Identity festival Parade attendees should prepare for the heat.
Snelling says the shelter plan has been developed over the many years of this parade.
It takes into account the large crowds and the compact route through neighborhood streets.
The weather is also a concern, with temperatures expected to be in the mid-90s.
"Although there is no actionable intelligence at this day, each year Chicago's public security departments along with parade organizers adjust the already robust security measures to ensure the shelter of personnel, participants, spectators, residents, and all those in the area. CPD will be along the route securing the pride and protecting all those celebrating," officials sai
Chicago Pride Parade
Chicago's Pride celebration consists of a packed month of festivities and events, culminating with the Chicago Pride Parade, which traditionally takes place the last Sunday of June.
Chicago Pride Fest takes place along North Halsted St. in the North Side neighborhood colloquially referred to a ‘Boystown’ the weekend prior to the parade.
The Chicago Pride Parade (June 29, 2025 11am)
The 54th annual Chicago Pride Pride steps off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from the corners of Sheridan and Broadway (3900 North) on Chicago's north side.
The parade treks through the north side of the city, ending near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park, walking through some of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
The annual parade, which started as a protest march in 1970 after the Stonewall Riots in New York City, has grown into the city's second-largest procession of nearly 200 entries, typically attracting more than 1 million people to multiple northside neighborhoods, particularly East Lakeview.
