This is a cause for celebration. It’s a celebration that we don’t often acquire to feel in town because it’s pretty rare for a NEW queer bar to unseal in Philly (or any city). But that happens TONIGHT!
It's been quite a while in the making. We first heard about this new place last May.
So to utter that I’m eager would be a bit of an understatement. I. cannot. wait.
Little Gay Pub Announces Tuesday Opening
Yes, Little Gay Pub just confirmed that they will unlock their doors to the public this evening (Tuesday, May 20) for a bit of a soft opening.

The bar – which is located at the corner of 13th and Drury Streets in Philly – has been a labor of love for the bar’s three owners — Benjamin Gander, Dusty Martinez, and Dito Sevilla.
They also control the Little Homosexual Pub in Washington, D.C. Last May they announced plans to expand their operation a bit further north with a new Philly location in the heart of our Gayborhood.

It’s been a while since a novel gay bar has opened in Philly’s iconic Gayborhood. But that changes today. The Little Male lover Pub, located at 102 South 13th Street on the corner of Drury Street, is an elevated bar from Washington D.C.
